Last year, while bringing down my laundry basket, a fella smiled and said hello while parking his car next to my building. Sure enough, it was Ike. In case I didn't recognize him, his license plate read: IKETURN and he had bumper stickers proclaiming such.Bizarrely enough, one of the former Kings of Rhythm drummers lives across the street with Tina Turner's older sister, Allene. Ike was a regular visitor.
